Crossing off the last “to-do” I’ll get to in 2008, I’ve uploaded a bunch of photos to Anne’s galleries. There are sets from her birth and the hospital stay, the first few days at home, and Christmas photos. Enjoy. It’s still a little bit early here, but nevertheless, have a Happy New Year!

This morning, we had another appointment with the doctor. His examination showed that Laura’s pregnancy had progressed a little more since last week, and she and the baby are both healthy. Our options at this point were basically: 1) wait another week and see if labor starts on its own, 2) give it a push [...]

As of tomorrow, Anne will be one week overdue. Laura still has contractions occasionally, which are stronger than they used to be, but their frequency and duration are still pretty random. Her joints are getting increasingly sore, and she’s finding it more and more difficult to roll over at night or get a decent amount [...]
