Anne is walking!
It all started this last Tuesday. Anne and I had gone to story time at the library. I set her down to take her sweater off. But she didn’t sit down. She just kept right on standing. She stood on her own for about 30 seconds before plopping down.
We had continued to work with her on standing. Today, when we put her on the floor, she took a few tentative steps. As she continued doing that and gaining confidence, the cameras came out again. She has now officially walked unassisted. We will be posting video later.
Other then chasing after Anne, we have been gearing up for her first birthday party and Christmas. We celebrated our Christmas today. I know! Early right? But with her birthday party next weekend and Christmas traveling immediately after that, we wanted to have our own special time. It was so much fun watching Anne open her presents. And believe it or not, she was actually more into the presents then the gift wrap. Horray!! We win! 
That’s it for now. Now I am off to play Dungeons and Dragons Online with my hubby! (P.S. Are you all shocked that it is me posting today!?! Crazy huh?)
